... Just where has the time gone!?

Well for my good self, I've spent January recharging my batteries ready for the year ahead and what better place to do this in than the sunny beaches of Goa. The relaxed tempo and chilled out way of life among the Goans really rubbed off on me and I felt myself truly unwind. Even more importantly I was TOTALLY inspired by the many sights of beauty, the endless sunshine and the smiles of the locals despite the ugliness of life for many natives. I spent the whole time taking snapshots, writing notes, sketching stories and dreaming up new ideas for the future. So if anyone fancies an Indian themed project this year, you certainly know the place to come. I am a FAN!!!

Watch This Space has begun in Middleton and we have a huge group of parents all looking to develop their soft skills through the art project with Skippko. We are now two sessions in and are taking a short break before returning after half term. Most recently the group have started their personal diaries and worked on a large scale group map. Fabulous!

Two weeks until the first REALISE programme of the year kicks off and referrals are now being taken at Archway and ReNew. This is a fabulous programme for any 16-19 year olds who are NEET. REALISE teaches life skills, develops soft skills and prepares young people to take the next step into education, training or employment through the use of creative activities. This is such a FANTASTIC opportunity for the young people involved so do get in touch if you want to be involved!
