Roll up, roll up, read all about it! I've two pieces of exciting news for you!

1. Friday May 27th is 'Hot on the Catwalk' Rose and Brown's vintage fashion show with a selection of vintage stalls, cabaret seating and the all important catwalk. I will be helping tomorrow night by strutting my stuff on the catwalk and I am getting very nervous! So if you can come along and lend some support, perhaps a few whoops from the back of the room, then please do. Tickets are a measly £5 and that gives you a whole night of fun from 7pm onwards. Hope to see, and hear, you there!

2. Saltaire Arts Trail is upon us this bank holiday weekend come along to Saltaire for a weekend of jolly good fun ranging from the makers fayre to kid's activities to exhibitions. I've been involved with the trail this year from early on as I have helped to design the front cover for the kid's 'i-spy' card which hopes to get the whole family involved in the event. In addition my house will be open Saturday - Monday, 10am - 5pm and it is housing two great artists in addition to myself.

Gill Smith is a whacky ceramicist who has created an army of scouts, some of which are terrorising the cup cake stand in muffin disguises!

Laura Slater is an Arts Trail veteran as this is her fourth year now! She brings a touch of retro class to the joint with hand printed textiles on a range of home furnishing items.

Then of course, there is I!!! Well, it will be my first Saltaire Arts Trail and I am very much looking forward to the hustle and bustle that the weekend promises to bring. On display I have a selection of works from the Lemba series, including a number that have not been on display in this country before.

So as you can see, we have a lot to offer you as does the rest of the village on this truly special weekend! So, please do come along. Information points are on Victoria Road and here you will be able to pick up a map and the i-spy card if you so desire. We are number 10 on the map, so see you there, 2 Constance Street!
