Starting Soon: Adult Art Group

What exciting news! I am starting an adults only art group. So get those kids in bed, park your partner in front of the box and hot foot it down to the fully equipped studio at ArtBugs for a fantastic evening.

All sessions are artist led by myself, but this is not about learning how to paint a certain way or everyone producing the same type of tapestry!

This is sooooo much more fun than that!

Come along for a chance to explore materials, create anything you desire, develop skills if you wish, ...

On The Edge Arts Festival July 15th - 17th 2011

On The Edge is basically a pilot Arts Festival that is getting the city ready for Leeds Fringe which is going to take place from 2012.

The festival is taking place at Temple Works a former mill of huge proportions that is set to become one of the cities up and coming Arts venues. It is going to feature a range of local up and coming talents including performance artists 'Skeleton Project,' theatre company 'Urban Sprawl' and of course yours truly along with a host of other exciting artists!

I'm into Plurals!

Hello blog-ettes and blog-eurs, I hope this finds you all well. I come bearing exciting news about upcoming shows, yes you read that write, shows in the plural!

I have recently had a positive response to an application for the Grassington Festival, an arts festival in North Yorkshire. I shall be showing a series of pieces entitled ‘Beachy Nostalgia Etc’ as part of a group exhibition in the town hall.
