Potency & Potential
Potency and Potential was an AHRC funded Arts research project led by Dr Anni Raw that ran 2014-2016. The full title of the project is ‘Potency and Potential of creative connections in interstitial spaces: Learning from Latin American perspectives.’
The project included two residential immersions, one in Sao Paulo, Brazil and the other in Barnsley, UK that brought together around 30 artists, activists and academics from Brazil, Mexico and the UK; meetings of artists, activists and academics in all of the base countries; international Skype meetings and the setting up of online platforms for sharing information and experiences.
I was involved as a co-facilitator and artist and was involved in both residencies. Photographs below are simply photo-documentation of this research project and some of the results.
