Find Your Way
Find Your Way was a week long Arts Education immersion experience at Leeds Art Gallery in 2016.
The front gallery space was turned into a place of engagement, interaction and investigation for young creatives to get stuck into. The walls were hung with a number of pieces from the collection as well as pictures created by young people during the week. Activities included tracing your path around the space on the floor using giant markers; planting herbs to see if they would grow like the one's in the painting on the wall; weaving brightly coloured circles like in Yorkshire's favourite painting - Helios by Gillian Ayres and recreating a Bridget Riley painting as a huge room installation using coloured electrical tape.
