Experimental drawing is a five week course based at Leeds College of Art. The course is workshop based so each week there is something new to explore, new tools to experiment with and new techniques to try out.

Its that time of year again folks, the REALISE project is hitting town! 

REALISE is a fantastic project for 16-19 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). We meet for three afternoons a week, share lunch together and take part in creative, independent, pair and group activities that aim to boost young people's self-confidence and enable them to take a next step, whatever that might be.

GPS Studio @ Lemba

For the past two weeks I have had the pleasure of working collaboratively with Prof. Kenneth G Hay, Josef Danek and a whole host of other students and artists from England, Ireland, Czech Republic and Slovakia to create a group exhibition at the Cyprus College of Art.

The theme of the project was Paradise and a whole range of work was created from sculptures using found objects to action painting to performance work to traditional painting and sculpture.

Since September I have been working hard on the REALISE programme with Re'New at Archway. 

REALISE is a creative arts programme aimed at 16-19 year olds who are NEET. The aim of the programme is help these young people take steps towards some form of personal and/or professional progress by developing transferable soft skills through creative projects.

On The Edge Arts Festival July 15th - 17th 2011

On The Edge is basically a pilot Arts Festival that is getting the city ready for Leeds Fringe which is going to take place from 2012.

The festival is taking place at Temple Works a former mill of huge proportions that is set to become one of the cities up and coming Arts venues. It is going to feature a range of local up and coming talents including performance artists 'Skeleton Project,' theatre company 'Urban Sprawl' and of course yours truly along with a host of other exciting artists!

Feast Your Eyes @ The Halo

Hello-ha,

Over the past couple of weeks I've been making kites with groups all over Rossendale Borough in conjunction with Rossendale Borough County Council. I've had such a blast working with such a wide range of people from toddlers at Dinky Links to an open day at the Horse and Bamboo Theatre. The whole project has been such a success and brought so much joy to so many people, that I am proud to have been a part of it. And it continues this Saturday...details below!
